ILO Reboot server (IPCA)
Via the Power Management/Virtual Devices tab. The name will vary based on version. If console access is not functioning, this is the next best alternative. Under this tab, there is a selection to the left named either Server Power or Virtual Power. From there, 4 options are available: Momentary Press, Press & Hold, Cold Boot and Reset, with a status of the server, either On or Off.
To power down a malfunctioning server, select Press & Hold and then confirm your selection when queried. The status of the server should change
to Off in a few seconds. Wait several seconds for the server to quiesce, and thenselect Momentary Press. Confirm the query & the server will boot. Access is available once the system is up
